As a member of the Lift team, you will be involved in the development of large, high-visibility projects for amazing clients, from television networks that you watch every day to Fortune 500 companies. The Job

Our team is growing by leaps and bounds. You would be responsible for the back-end development of enterprise-level websites and web applications, as well as developing live interactive experiences for television. We also run a WordPress theme shop called UpThemes. You’d get to work on some cool themes and plugins that we release to our growing customer base.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise-grade WordPress solutions for clients
• Develop requirements & planning documentation
• Collaborate with clients and design team to construct amazing user experiences
• Set up, manage, & configure hosting environments
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
• Maintain working knowledge of new development software, trends, and practices related to your responsibilities

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of WordPress, PHP, & MySQL
• Expert knowledge of Javascript and all associated buzzwords (jQuery, AJAX, etc.)
• Expert knowledge of Linux, Unix, & Apache
• Expert knowledge of version control (GIT)
• Functional knowledge of NGINX
• Strong oral & written communication skills with both teams & clients
• Core contributions to an open-source project
